Kathleen Day CFP®, CFA, MBA

Founding Shareholder, CEO, Senior Planner

I am Kathie Day, founder of The Enrichment Group. In my life before financial planning, I earned my MBA and became a corporate banker with a large regional bank. Although this career gave me training and experience in analytical problem solving and strategic planning, I was disappointed in the overall client service experience I was able to offer in this industry.

When I left my career in banking in 1987, I was determined to create a client-friendly personal financial planning firm that would provide unbiased professional advice to help clients achieve their life goals. That’s when I started The Enrichment Group.

Now with over 25 years of experience, I serve multi-generational clients with a simple approach – by listening effectively, explaining without lecturing, and presenting solutions in an understandable way. My most valuable skill as a financial advisor is my ability to listen to my client’s personal stories, help them visualize the type of life they want, and map out the steps they need to follow in order to get there. As a result, my clients benefit from setting goals, defining family values and navigating through life’s transitions. Together, we create a tradition of enrichment.

My financial advice is guided not only by expertise, but also by a personal philosophy of enrichment. I believe that money is not a goal in itself. Instead, enrichment encompasses many aspects of life, like balance, safety, and giving back. In the end, not all decisions are purely financial and some of the best decisions we make are the ones that allow us to achieve a life goal.

I am also blessed to live a life of enrichment. My husband Pat and I enjoy working together each day. We currently spend half of our time in Miami, and the other half working from our mountain home in Colorado. We especially enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking and visiting our children and grandchildren in Arizona and California.
